The COVID-19 pandemic has vividly shown us the implications of destroying nature. If we do not mend our ways, we will suffer immensely due to the climate crisis, pollution of air, water and ocean and other ecological breakdowns. The time for soft environmentalism is over.

We have to usher in a new era of environmentalism in which both the language and practice of environment has to be mainstreamed. We in India are at a right time in history when technology is available to support large-scale implementation of green practices. The challenge now is to make this happen.
