Role Overview
We are looking for a Graphic Designer, who will work closely with the communications team to design reports, research material and content that enhances iFOREST’s brand and visibility. Your work will primarily involve designing knowledge content and supporting the Communications team with visuals for reports, campaigns and research dissemination across our key focus areas – Clean Energy, Urban Transition, Industrial Decarbonisation, Just Transition, Air Pollution, Waste Management and Environmental Social Governance.

Required Experience – 0-2 years with good DTP layout and design skills would be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Layout and design of research reports and knowledge content.
- Visually compelling graphics and infographics to translate our research for digital and print collaterals.
- Develop compelling social media creatives aligned with ongoing campaigns and research.
- Create data-driven visuals and infographics to communicate complex research simply and effectively.
- Provide illustration support for podcasts, video explainers and other multimedia content.
- Design branding materials for events, conferences, and workshops.
- Support copywriting in English and Hindi for basic social media posts when needed.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Desk Top Publishing and graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, etc.
- Strong visual storytelling and data visualization skills.
- Ability to interpret and creatively represent complex environmental topics.
- Basic understanding of copywriting for social media (English and Hindi preferred).
- Knowledge of motion graphics or animation (optional but desirable).
- Detail-oriented with good time management and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Communication Design, or related field.
- Alternatively, a recognized Diploma in Desktop Publishing or equivalent design certification.
