Environment Communication Internship at iFOREST

Responsibility/competencies

To support the communication team by producing compelling social media content and designing communication campaigns to support iFOREST’s research on climate change, Just Transition, renewable energy and climate governance among other areas.
Ability to write sharp copy for social media and create visually striking posters and reels using Canva, Instagram reels and carousels.
Ability to create engaging data visuals.
Research support for podcasts and video explainers.
Support in organizing conferences, workshops and training programmes.
PR support with round tables, dialogues and report releases.
Ability to convert complex climate science into stunning visuals and infographics
Ability to write crisp copy for social media.

Duration

The duration of the internship is 3 months, which can be extended on requirement/availability basis.

Educational Qualification

Students pursuing or those who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in mass communications, journalism or communication design are encouraged to apply.

Skills Required

The intern must have an interest in environment research and climate communications, be deft with data visualization, audio-visual communication collaterals and social media content.

Work Location – Noida
