Delighted to share our latest iFOREST report, “Road to Scaled Renewable Energy Deployment in Assam: A Phased Strategy Framework.” The report presents a comprehensive roadmap for accelerating Assam’s clean energy transition through a balanced mix of solar, energy storage, grid modernisation, and reliable baseload planning. Drawing on extensive stakeholder consultations and data-driven analysis, it identifies key policy, regulatory, and investment priorities to help the state achieve its renewable energy ambitions while ensuring energy security, affordability, and DISCOM sustainability. We hope this report contributes to informed policy discussions and supports Assam’s journey towards becoming a clean energy leader in Northeast India.
